We hope that everyone is having an enjoyable summer! We are extremely pleased to announce that everything is on schedule for our building work to be completed in time for staff to get ready for the pupils' return on Thursday 7th September! With the help of Tameside Council contributing additional money to the project, we have been able to remodel the damaged section of the school to make it far more appropriate for educating our pupils in the 21st Century. Gone is the long, thin, dark corridor and instead with have a bright and welcoming 'social hub'. The overall space could be no bigger than before but we feel we have made much better use of the space available. Of course the ultimate test will be 'does it meet the pupils approval?' and we're looking forward to meeting that challenge in a few weeks!
