At Cromwell High School we place a high priority on pupils developing key, functional skills. Therefore we agree targets with parents at each pupil's Annual Review of Statement that then are woven throughout the curriculum. We set targets in the following areas:
- Communication 1 (face to face - including Speaking and Listening)
- Communication 2 and 3 (recorded - including literacy)
- CSSC (categories, sets, sequences and comparisons)
- Working with others (from socially effective behaviour to advanced team work)
- Improving Own Learning (including focusing, attention span to independent learning)
- Vocational (building on independent life skills)
