At Cromwell High School we place a high priority on pupils developing key, functional skills. Therefore we agree targets with parents at each pupil's Annual Review of their Education and Health Care Plan that are then woven throughout the curriculum. We set targets in the following areas:
- Communication (face to face- including Speaking and Listening)
- Communication (recorded- including literacy)
- Thinking Skills (including using the basics of logic)
- Working with others (socially effective behaviour)
- Improving Own Learning (including focusing, attention span to independent learning)
- Independent Problem Solving (from mobility to getting the necessary resources for a task)
