At Key Stage 4 pupils are offered the option to study different areas of the curriculum including Programming, Spanish, Art, Music and Crafts. The process of choosing can be as valuable as the subjects themselves. Adult life is full of choices and, as pupils grow into adulthood need to learn how to make a considered and informed choice to the best of their ability. Making the wrong choice in a safe and temporary context can be an opportunity to learn to think ahead to a greater degree in the future. The ability to choose wisely is a liberation and chance to develop your own personality and self esteem. Pupils choose to follow their interests and hopefully follow these through to enrich their personal life in the present and as adults.
